Of the various forms of mass media, I feel that for me, the Internet is the most influential. It might not come as a surprise, considering I am a teenager in the Age of Information. However, it is true; the Internet has become a medium that is inseparable to our everyday lives. Not only do I use the Internet for entertainment, but I use it for my academics as well. As many schools today now require students to work on assignments by computer, it is natural that youths now a day use the Internet to search information, write papers, and get accustomed to computers.
I also use the Internet for entertainment as well. I read news articles on the web, listen to music on websites. I sometimes watch movies and post notes on blogs. Although some people today might be concerned that kids today might get addicted to computers, I can assure you that I have very healthy computer habits. It might be true that youths can be exposed to unhealthy information through the Internet, and there is always the danger of getting your personal information stolen and exposed by hackers. However, it cannot be denied the internet is convenient and fast, and that you can get almost any kind of information you need. That is why I consider that the Internet is without a doubt a medium that makes my life richer.
